ak agents model

ak agents model list

List every installed Agent AgentKit has recorded, with the model its file carries, the model config resolves to, and their status.

Use ak agents model list to see all installed Agents and spot files that are pending or have drifted from config.

Usage

ak agents model list [--runtime <runtime>] [--project <dir>]

No positional arguments are accepted. The command is read-only, never prompts, and performs no network work. It reads AgentKit's agent model records, config, and the installed Agent files.

FlagDefaultDescription
--runtime <runtime>all runtimesLimit to one of claude-code, codex, cursor, omp, pi.
--project <dir>nearest project config, else the current directoryProject whose installs and .agentkit/config.yaml apply.

Global installs are always listed. Project installs are listed for the selected project. Rows are sorted by runtime, then Agent.

Output

Human stdout is a table:

RUNTIME AGENT SCOPE STATUS FILE MODEL DESIRED (FROM)

FILE MODEL is - when the file is missing or unreadable. DESIRED (FROM) names the layer that decided the model. With nothing recorded it prints No agent models recorded yet. Install or refresh a kit to record them.

JSON success uses:

schema_version: 1
kind: agents.model.list
data.agents[]
data.warnings?

Each agents[] entry has runtime, agent, kit, install_scope (global or project), path, kit_default?, adapter_default, user_override?, project_override?, desired, desired_source, recorded, materialized?, effective (value, certainty, reason?), and status (in-sync, pending, drift, or not-materialized).

Warnings name unreadable state or config that fell back to defaults. They go to stderr as warning: ... lines in human mode.

Exit behavior

ExitMeaning
0The listing was produced, including an empty one.
1A local runtime error occurred.
2Invalid flags, an unsupported runtime, or a missing --project directory.
