Workflow guides

Run a marketing growth workflow

Chain Marketing Skills from evidence and planning through launch, conversion work, content, and measurement.

Use this guide when a marketing result depends on several reviewed artifacts rather than one isolated deliverable. Keep evidence, strategy, production, and publication as separate gates.

Before you start

Define the business outcome, audience, market, time window, approved brand inputs, available evidence, measurement baseline, budget boundary, and account access. A plan or draft does not grant permission to publish, spend, contact people, or change a provider account.

Plan and measure a launch

  1. Use ak:marketing-research to collect dated, sourced evidence about the audience, problem, market, and alternatives.
  2. Use ak:competitor and ak:persona only where the launch decision needs deeper competitive or audience evidence.
  3. Use ak:pricing-strategy when packaging or price assumptions affect positioning.
  4. Use ak:marketing-planning to turn accepted evidence into objectives, audience, message, channels, owners, milestones, metrics, risks, and approval gates.
  5. Use ak:launch-strategy to define launch phases, assets, channel roles, readiness gates, and post-launch monitoring.
  6. Use ak:campaign for the reviewable campaign plan, then ak:analytics for measurement.

Start research with a decision, not a broad topic:

Determine whether the evidence supports launching this offer to the selected audience in the stated window. Separate sourced facts, supplied facts, inference, and unresolved gaps.

Do not pass unsupported claims into planning. Preserve the evidence date, source links, rejected assumptions, and unresolved questions.

Improve a conversion step

  1. Use ak:analytics to establish the baseline, segment, funnel step, and measurement quality.
  2. Use ak:funnel to map the journey and prioritize an observed drop-off or friction point.
  3. Use the focused CRO Skill, such as ak:form-cro or ak:onboarding-cro, to develop a testable change.
  4. Use ak:ab-test-setup to define the hypothesis, primary metric, guardrails, sample assumptions, duration, and decision rule.
  5. Return to ak:analytics after the approved experiment has run.

Stop when tracking is unreliable, the baseline is missing, the selected segment changed, or the proposed test cannot isolate the hypothesis. Do not replace missing data with invented conversion estimates.

Build a content program

  1. Use ak:brand and ak:persona to establish approved messaging and audience inputs.
  2. Use ak:content-marketing to define themes, formats, distribution roles, calendar, and success measures.
  3. Use ak:write to produce scoped copy.
  4. Route the reviewed draft to ak:seo, ak:email, or ak:social for channel-specific adaptation.
  5. Use ak:analytics to compare results with the accepted baseline and decision rule.

Keep draft creation separate from publication. The handoff must identify the approved copy, asset versions, destination, schedule, consent or compliance requirements, and the person who can authorize publishing.

Complete the workflow

Use ak:handoff when another session or owner continues. The workflow is complete when the evidence and decision record are traceable, required artifacts are approved, measurement is defined, and every external action has an explicit owner and authority gate.
